Logitech USB hub and webcam

I noticed that my webcam doesn't seem to work with arch when it's plugged into the logitech USB hub I got (Model # GM7350Q) but does work somewhat when plugged directly into the system albeit green in skype which is a seperate issue (yes I've read the wiki)

So just wondered what could be the reason for this. Hate to say it, but never noticed a prob in windows with these type of setups so I'm guessin the hub aint installed 100% in me sys?

Edit: Sorry I should mention a few other things. External hdd's and pen drives all seem to work fine from the hub, it's only the webcam that doesn't. Heres my lsusb
