framebuffer questions re: zotac ion

I'm trying to get a 1366x768 framebuffer console out of the hdmi port of my zotac ion board. The final goal is to get mplayer with vdpau to play in this framebuffer... edit: oops this is impossible, isn't it?

I set it to 1280x720, looks pretty good.

Does thsi mean it's working?
