Repartitioning Software RAID with LVM

I've got a RAID 1 Arch setup with two 1 TB hard drives. A software RAID uses all of both drives and the LVM is on top of that. I'm interested in taking about 100 GB from /home and creating a partition for Windows 7, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it because of the software RAID. Do I just shrink /home and then the RAID accordingly, then use that free space for NTFS? If I shrink a certain one first will that in any way adversely effect the other?

If I understand correctly the end result is a Win7 partition that is outside of the software RAID array and the latter would simply be treated as unusable space by Windows. Can anyone tell me if I'm off in my thinking before I give it a go?
