bttv freeze my system

I have a miro PCTV pro tuner with bt848 chip, wich works with

options bttv card=11

option in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf, because autodetection is failed to recognize it properly
I have audio and video, the problem is that in random occasions it freezes my whole system, the sysrq key combinations are also useless.

in the log:

it' obvious that two HSYNC OFLOW lines indicates the error, the next line is the reboot. This is what I have so far. Sometimes I can watch tv for hours without problems, sometimes it crashes after 10 seconds. It's very annoying. I don't know how to debug further. I would appriciate any help! Thanks
