Kmix at startup?

Hi,
I'm running Arch64bit, with KDE 4.3.4 on a Sony Vaio.
It works perfect, but now kmix doesn't start at boot afet login so I don't see it in the tray. If then I start it manually everythings works well.
How can I start it automatically? Without using Autostart in System Settings

Thank you very much

Cesare

Re: Kmix at startup?

Did you check the settings in kmix?

Re: Kmix at startup?

Hmm I remember having this problem once, don't remember exactly how I fixed it. But I always :
1. Remove pulseaudio.
2. Install phonon-backend-xine
3. Check alsamixer settings
4. Check if xine backend is selected in System settings->Multimedia

Re: Kmix at startup?

Well:
1. Remove pulseaudio.  <-- I never install it
2. Install phonon-backend-xine <--- I have already installed
3. Check alsamixer settings  <- they are work correctly also called at start up in rc.conf  to set volume
4. Check if xine backend is selected in System settings->Multimedia <-- it was already selected

thanks for your support

Sorry if I revived this thread but i could fix this by going to System settings->Multimedia  and at engine, select your output hardware device for each output (videos, games, notifications, etc)
