Hi All,
Just moved to arch from kubuntu and still getting my head around it. I am trying to install deluge v1.2.0-1 wich this page:
http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/deluge/
suggests is the latetest version of deluge available.
When i run pacman -S deluge i get:
sudo pacman -S deluge
Password:
warning: deluge-1.1.9-3 is up to date -- reinstalling
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
Targets (1): deluge-1.1.9-3
Total Download Size: 0.00 MB
Total Installed Size: 9.78 MB
Proceed with installation? [Y/n]
I thought this was weird so i enabled a few more mirrors thinking my isp mirror list was out of date. same problem. So I thought I would go to the AUR and try the deluge version in there (using yaourt)...except the install bombs out because it cant locate python-mako in either AUR or regular repos. I really need latest deluge to use one of the plugins that isnt available in the 1.1 branch. I even enabled the testing repository to see if it was in there.
HELP!
Cheers
Joe

Try a pacman -Syy, then pacman -Su, then try installing deluge.

try pacman -Syu --debug and find out what mirror is using. Note that pacman will use the first mirror in the list, even is out of date. it will use the second only if the first is down
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
