Wine error appears related to Intel video?

Am attempting to run "Learn to Play Bridge" software (http://www.acbl.org/learn/ltpb.html) using Wine v1.1.36. According to the wineappdb website this software works perfectly under Wine. Not for me it doesn't!

Here is the error I get:

err:xrender:get_xrender_format_from_color_shifts No XRender format found

My video chipset is the Intel 82945G and I am using the Intel driver. my xorg file is below:

I get the basic application window but the menu buttons are all greyed out and there is no central graphical part to the window itself.

Any assistance on to how I might proceed would be greatly appreciated.
