[SOLVED] Pacman - removing unneeded packages

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there was a way to remove unneeded packages in pacman.  By unneeded I mean the packages that are installed as a dependency of another packages, in which case you later remove the package, so the dependencies remain installed while you don't need them.  This happens after installing/removing a lot of packages over a long period of time.  So the question really is: is there a way to remove left-over dependencies?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: [SOLVED] Pacman - removing unneeded packages

A discussion around this came up just the other day.  I have never tried this, but there are quite a few suggestions here:
