network problems after upgrade to 2.6.32.4-1

Hi everyone. I had problems with network connections after last kernel and wicd update. After reboot wicd doesnt see eth0. Downgraded wicd and nothing happen. Downgraded kernel, nothing happen. Had to downgrade kernel all the way back to 2.6.31!!!! to be able to get network working.
Ethernet controller is Intel 82801BA/BAM/CA/CAM.

Is this only my computer or did it happen to somebody else?

Re: network problems after upgrade to 2.6.32.4-1

After latest updete (last night , friday 5.2) no network connection att all. Update was really huge so i dont know what happen. kernel was set up to no upgrade when the problems started in my last post so it must be some other package that couse this problem.

ifconfig doesnt see my eth0 just lo

there is no failed messages during the boot process. I really need some help.

update:

I done painfull downgrade of all packages from the last update (100+) with no results. Then I took out my ethernet card and put some old 3com ethernet card. Boot and network is up. After that I done full upgrade together with kernel and everything works fine. It is still a mystery what was a problem with ibm ethernet card and latest updates.
