[SOLVED] no top bar (I'll explain)

I recently installed openbox alongside gnome, but I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. Now, my programs such as nautilus and gimp (there are more) are missing the top bar that says "File, edit, etc". How can I get this back?

No luck sad It shouldn't have to do with metacity. It is inside the window

Eeeks..the menu bar is gone? tongue
Hmm, how about renaming the .nautilus directory to somewhere else?
mv ~/.nautilus ~/nautilus

See if it restores your original settings.

Nope sad Still no luck. Is there a setting in gconf-editor I should change?

Re: [SOLVED] no top bar (I'll explain)

Hmm, I think there might be. I don't use gnome and have very little knowledge about it. See what

nautilus -c

says.

EDIT: ALso maybe rename these folders and see if that makes any difference?
~/.gnome* ~/.gconf*

Nope sad This really stinks. Did openbox try and change something?
