I recently installed openbox alongside gnome, but I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. Now, my programs such as nautilus and gimp (there are more) are missing the top bar that says "File, edit, etc". How can I get this back?

Try
metacity --replace&
No luck It shouldn't have to do with metacity. It is inside the window

Eeeks..the menu bar is gone?
Hmm, how about renaming the .nautilus directory to somewhere else?
mv ~/.nautilus ~/nautilusSee if it restores your original settings.
Nope Still no luck. Is there a setting in gconf-editor I should change?

Hmm, I think there might be. I don't use gnome and have very little knowledge about it. See what
nautilus -c
says.
EDIT: ALso maybe rename these folders and see if that makes any difference?
~/.gnome* ~/.gconf*

Nope This really stinks. Did openbox try and change something?
