What is that beautiful tty font?

Personally I think the bitmap font in tty is very good. What is name of that font and how can I use it in X applications, e.g. urxvt and emacs?

Re: What is that beautiful tty font?

It is in /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts/.  Probably default8x16.psfu.gz.

You'll need to convert it to a format X can use.  FontForge can do that.

Fontforge didn't recognize the format .psfu.gz or psfu

Re: What is that beautiful tty font?

I swear there was something that said it could.  Don't trust half of what you read, I guess.

Try this:

xmbdfed is in the AUR and bdftopcf is part of the xorg-font-utils package.
