Hi Archers,
I added XChat to the Gnome startup application list. When Gnome starts, XChat is started too, but it doesn't appear in the notification area.
When I start it during a Gnome session, it does appear in it.
Did I miss something? Am I the only one to experience that issue?
Thanks for your help.

You can workaround it by making a script with "sleep 20; xchat" and running it on startup.

Since Gnome 2.30, it is finally possible to enter a composite command as a startup application command.
However, the workaround still doesn't work. By entering this command, XChat isn't started at all.
