[SOLVED] pacman can't find a package which is in the repository

Hi All,

I'd like to install gcc-gcj, because pdftk from AUR depends on it. Since i didn't find the mentioned package with pacman, I tried to install it from AUR, but it seems to get into a loop and I have to cancel it.
I was trying to find a solution to install gcc-gcj somehow, when I realized that this package is included in Extra http://www.archlinuxppc.org/packages/4570/, however pacman -Ss can't find it? Am I missing something? Of course Extra repo is enabled in pacman.conf.

That is the extra repo for the Arch Linux PPc project.   It is not in the main [extra] repos.

Not in the repos - try a search for it at archlinux.org/packages to confirm.

Your information is outdated - it was demoted from extra to the aur in May last year.

I knew I must have missed something. Sorry for my inadvertence.
