[Solved] Bluetooth mouse works only after suspend

Hi at all,

I unfortunatelly got some troubles to get my paired bluetooth mouse running as excepectd.

Doing a fresh start / restart of my laptop, my bluetooth mouse is not able to connect to my computer.
I try as following:
hidd --connect 00:07:61:DD:91:87
Can't get device information: Host is down

hcidump lists following

HCI sniffer - Bluetooth packet analyzer ver 1.42
device: hci0 snap_len: 1028 filter: 0xffffffffffffffff
< HCI Command: Create Connection (0x01|0x0005) plen 13
> HCI Event: Command Status (0x0f) plen 4
> HCI Event: Connect Complete (0x03) plen 11
< HCI Command: Create Connection (0x01|0x0005) plen 13
> HCI Event: Command Status (0x0f) plen 4
> HCI Event: Connect Complete (0x03) plen 11

Curiously, when I send my laptop to suspend to ram or disk and woke it then up,
my mouse is working (without doing a hidd --connect).

Also paring of the mouse is only working after I had this done.

At least I had ever got some troubles running the mouse. Before running kernel 2.6.32 the mouse does work after start but not after suspend.
( I posted this at http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=83572)
Since this post the mouse works when starting and suspending at least to the end of the last year.

So I think some update during the end of 2009 / beginning of 2010 have broken it.

So first of all:
1. Have you got any idea whats going wrong?
2. What do you think is the next step to identify the problrm?

to Point 2): I' m thinking of install some older kernel 2.6.32 or bluez version, but I'm not sure which cause this issue. What do you think?

What I've done at the moment:
1. Searching for some help in google (I have nothing found, otherwise this posting will be mandatory)
2. Removing the complete bluetooth packages and config files and /var/lib/bluetooth and doing a fresh reinstall.
3. Playing around with some of the module options of my driver.
4. Hoped this issue is solved in near future with a update ;-)

Your's hopefully to get a solution...

Frank

PS: My bluetooth deivce ist a Broadcom BCM2046

Re: [Solved] Bluetooth mouse works only after suspend

Strange problems sometimes got strange solutions.
After installing the old kernel 2.6.32-1-1 which was in testing my mouse working was working after restart. I switched back to the current version, and now all works fine.
No idea which causes the trouble...
