Easy way to fill a .mailcap file

Hi, making the switch to offlineimap and mutt I'd like to open attachments direclty from mutt. I've found out tha I have to fill the file .mailcap with the appropriate informations

e.g.

image/*; gqview '%s'

This seems a very long process so I asked myself if there i a faster way to fill .mailcap than manually enter an entry for each file type?

using wildcards is pretty much as easy as it gets from my experience... Sorry.

If you do a search,you may well find some example mailcap files on the web. You'll probably find it easier to edit than fill from scratch. Also, if you're using DE, you can call the DE to get it to decide which application to use.
