pacman question

I am installing kde which needs libthai, but it is not in the server. I have already wget'd it from somewhere else. It is installed but I need pacman to stop trying to download it or else the whole thing fails. How can I stop pacman from trying to install it

Ok I have a new problem. The version of libthai is not new enough. Would you happen to know where I can snag a pkg.tar.gz of it because it is not in the repos

Re: pacman question

you could use this mirror: http://mirror.giantix-server.de/archlinux/

add it on the first line in mirrorlist

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
