KDE Font Installer Control Module problem

Hey all,

Today I tried to install some fonts using the KDE control center and came across this error message:

The diagnostics is:
/opt/kde/lib/libkfontinst.so.0: undefined symbol: FTC_SBit_Cache_Lookup
Possible reasons:
An error occurred during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control module
You have old third party modules lying around.
Check these points carefully and try to remove the module mentioned in the error message. If this fails, consider contacting your distributor or packager

And it is unusable. Does anybody have similair problems? Maybe some thoughts on how to resolve this?

Re: KDE Font Installer Control Module problem

kdebase needs probably a rebuild against new freetype package
i will look at that
it's really easy to install fonts with pacman
look at the font packages in extra (not ms-fonts) how to do that
