Suspend/Resume stopped working after upgrading pm-utils.

Hello folks,

I am running Arch on a Fujitsu Amilo 1437G and suspend/resume was working fine with pm-utils 1.2.6.1-3.

After last system upgrade I have realized that system does not resume anymore after suspend: hard disk drive sounds like starting but resume does never complete. Instead, hard disk drive sounds like starting again, again and again and I have to poweroff the laptop by pressing power button in order to stop this endless loop. When checking pm-suspend.log everything looks normal and last line is: "Fri Feb  5 23:25:16 CET 2010: performing suspend"

Thinking about system upgrade, I have checked pacman.log and I can see pm-utils was upgraded from 1.2.6.1-3 to 1.2.6.1-4. Is anyone suffering similar problems after upgrading pm-utils? Any action to solve it? Or just rollback to version 1.2.6.1-3?

Thank you everybody in advance!!

Daniel.

Just a quick update:

I have tried including the hook "resume" in the initrd image, as suggested in the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pm- … leshooting

However there was not any improvement.
