I'm following the cpufreq wiki page but I'm still having trouble getting acpi-cpufreq to load. I can modprobe it after boot and it works fine but on boot I get an error message that says there's no file called /etc/rc.d/acpi-cpufreq. I checked and this is true. I get the same error message for my power management schemes. Again, I can modprobe them after boot and that works.
I'd really like them to work on boot because it looks like even if I modprobe them after boot, KDE's power management doesn't seem to realize they're working.
