installing an archiso system

so after creating a livecd with archiso, what would be the best way to get that system installed? (in a redistributable way, not just for myself.)

would I modify AIF somehow? I've been lookin' at it for a bit now, but don't really get it... xD

Re: installing an archiso system

I don't see what this has to do with Arch-related 'discussion'. This is a trivial technical problem, nothing else.

Moving this to a more appropriate subforum.

Re: installing an archiso system

Hi Stythys,

Why don't you check out our ArchBang thread. We are currently working on an installer. We are modifying the /arch/setup script to get it to work. Usually the idea is:
1. Mount or unsquash the sqfs files.
2. Copy or rsync the directories.
3. Install extra packages.
4. grub-install

Re: installing an archiso system

oh, cool big_smile. yeah my idea is similar to what archbang is, too =P. I was gonna start modding it but if someone's already workin' on it then I'll just wait.
