Unable to download samba! (SOLVED)

Hi,
I have been trying to download samba via pacman for a while now. It does not seem to find the necessary files on any of the servers I have listed in mirrorlist.
Is there some problem with the repositories or am I doing something wrong?

[sam@sony ~]$ sudo pacman -S samba

looking for inter-conflicts...

Re: Unable to download samba! (SOLVED)

Rerank your mirrors using reflector and then do a 'pacman -Syy'

Samba is currently on samba 3.4.5-1.1 last update 01/19/2010
http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/samba/

If you do a 'pacman -Syu' be aware of this: http://www.archlinux.org/news/483/

It usually is a good practice to do a system update before installing a new package (to avoid what happened to you now) but see above.

Re: Unable to download samba! (SOLVED)

It's generally a bad idea to -Sy(y) foobar, it tends to lead to breakage. -Syu and then installing the package is prefered.
