[Solved] kdelibs merry-go-round

So I answered yes to changing to kdelibs, but am told it requires phonon and kdepim-akonadiconsole.

I try to install phonon, but am told it conflicts with qt. After reading a recent thread in this forum, I issue 'pacman -Sy --asdeps qt' and then install phonon.

Trying to install kdepim-akonadiconsole, I am told it conflicts with kdepim-runtime. When I answer yes to remove kdepim-runtime, I am being warned that kdepim-kresources needs it.

At this point I'm out of courage. Should I uninstall kdepim-runtime??

Re: [Solved] kdelibs merry-go-round

Thank you!

203 files four days ago and another 214 files, including new kernel version, today...

A small quirk, in case others should experience the same: after upgrading and a cold start, KDE started normally, but with a black screen. Restarting X a couple of times seems to have solved it smile
