[solved] Change from separate /boot partition to no boot partition

Hey,
i installed arch with a separate boot partition. Now i want to change it to not mount that partition and use my root partition for /boot.
What i would do is copy the files from the /boot partiton to my home directoy, then unmount the /boot partition. Next I'd copy the files to /boot on my root-partition and delete the entry for mounting my /boot partition from /etc/fstab.
Is that going to work or do i have to do something else too?
I'll try now anyway but just in case it doesn't work I'd like to know what i can do smile

Greets,
demian

That should work. I hope you are using a Live CD for carrying out the process?
Make sure if you used UUID in grub, to change that accordingly!

Worked like a charm. I forgot to change the grub entrys ofc smile.

Turns out i had to reinstall GRUB too. Also, using UUIDs in Grub gives me kernel panic while /dev/sdaX doesn't.
