Hello everyone!
I installed the driver for broadcom AUR (yaourt-S broadcom-wl), apparently it's all working, the driver is up, the network is being recognized, but when I put the correct password for the network (WPA2) it does not connect, it just gets getting the IP.
I'm using knetworkmanagement.
What could be causing this problem?
Thank you!

Message only to one Up on the topic, because it could not solve the problem. Although the wireless network is not connecting.

Have you tried connecting manually? Try that and see where things break down. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wir … nual_setup
I've used that driver successfully but only with WEP.

I'll try manually. But never had problems by knetwrokmanager.
I'll try and post the results here!
Thanks

Is that this is the problem? With wpa_supplicant?
How can I solve?

Hey guys,
I still can not solve the problem. Below is my wpa_supplicant.conf:
network={
ssid="TIAGO"
proto=RSN
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=CCMP TKIP
group=CCMP TKIP
psk=ad3e2944bd00c54aaf51e689a071e2ea7e5a8f2f18a9026c2841ba3dd52ae440
}
Does anyone know how I can solve the problem that I'm not getting connect?
Thanks
EDIT------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made a reset on my wireless router and still not connecting it, even without a password.
In Windows this connecting normal. What can be wrong?

Maybe you should try with dhclient instead of dhcpc???

How can I use the dhcpc? I never used this alternative.
Thanks

If that's all that's in your wpa_supplicant.conf file, then you need to restore the default entries (this link might help: http://hostap.epitest.fi/gitweb/gitweb. … cant.conf). Generally I make the network configuration files in my home directory and specify them with -c (so something like /home/lswest/home for my home network). Once you run the wpa_supplicant command, you need to get an IP using
sudo dhcpcd eth0
Also, are you sure eth0 is the right device for the wireless connection? You can check with
sudo iwconfig
Hope that helps.

One thing that I realized that my wireless card was on eth1 normally but now she is on eth0 and the network adapter is on eth0. I made a rules in / etc / udev / rules.d with the name of 10_netinterfaces.rules, but to no avail and continued to eth0 and the wireless network card on eth1. Could be the problem?
I will try to do as I passed Iswest, but in the example wpa_supplicant.conf I passed I would need only use one form of connection, right? Would have to use the WPA2 and comment on the rest is that right?
Thanks

The broadcom-wl driver causes the switch in eth0 / eht1, though this should not be an issue.
I have successfully connected to a WPA2 WiFi, using the broadcom-wl driver from AUR, with my:
BCM 4311 (rev 02)
I should note that I used networkmanager through nm-applet

Yes! It reverses the output of my plate, before the wireless was on eth1 and the network card was on eth0, is now instead, but I believe this is not the problem.
But both knetworkmanager and in wicd I can not connect, he is getting the IP address and not leave any more.
I'm still looking for the solution of the problem.
EDIT--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Was checking that now neither my father's computer is connected to the internet, he connected to the network from the wireless router but not connect to the internet. I tried this with Windows on another partition and the same thing.
Will of a sudden gave problem with my router that now he does not want to run the party to obtain an IP address?
