[SOLVED] Install 32 bit openoffice

Hi!

I need to install a 32-bit Version of OpenOffice in order to get a proprietary SpellChecker working. My problem is, that I don't know how to do that. Is it possible to install the ArchLinux 32bit OpenOffice package with a special commandline parameter (--force-architecture like in Ubuntu) or do you recommend a different way?

Thanks in advance

32-but openoffice won't work natively on arch without tonnes of 32-bit compatibility libs.  Either install all of those and then manually install the 32-bit package, or use a 32-bit chroot.

Thank you for the hint to the chroot, works like a charm!

I know that you mark this solved, but you may get away with having just enough 32 bit libraries for the spell checker itself.
