I'm attempting a full system upgrade, but I'm getting this error:
:: Starting full system upgrade...
:: Replace kdelibs-experimental with extra/kdelibs? [Y/n] y
resolving dependencies...
warning: provider package was selected (phonon-gstreamer provides phonon-backend)
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: kde-meta-kdepim: requires kdepim-akonadiconsoleThe problem appears to center around kde-meta-kdepim and kdepim-akonadiconsole
This may have been a mistake, but in my attempt to work around this, I decided to install kdepim-akonadiconsole manually, so I did. In installed without error.
So I retried powerpill -Syu again, but I recieved the exact same error as the first attempt.
This time, I installed kde-meta-kdepim manually. It installed without error.
Frustratingly, powerpill -Syu still gives me the same error:
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: kde-meta-kdepim: requires kdepim-akonadiconsoleHas this been addressed in another thread? I'd appreciate any tips.

I followed those instructions when attempting to upgrade the first time. I know how to read front-page announcements. ![]()
But in any case, I solved the dependence problem myself. I simply deleted kde-meta-kdepim with powerpill -R and then re-tried the full system upgrade with powerpill -Su
SUCCESS!
