Hi all, I wanted to make sure if mkinitcpio update is safe with software raid setup - is there anything to consider when performing this update when I have one home partition running on raid1? (Only /home, rest is normal) Thanks in advance

Is what safe?
I don't know what you mean. I can't tell you something's safe or not, unless I know specifically what you're talking about.
Tell me what the "it" refers to.
(If you don't get the reference, then just move along...)

Yes, it's very safe. /home will only be mounted long after the mkinitcpio-based part of the init process has ended.

well, it refers to "mkinitcpio update", the one noted on main page of course - to 0.6 from earlier klibc versions to busybox one. There was note that when root filesystem is on NFS other package needs to be installed also, but is there any additional precautions to be taken when using software raid or LVM? I think that not, but wanted to make sure if there are some possible issues. Hope it explains what I meant?
edit:
thanks, didn't noticed your second post before posting this.
