I've just changed the mirror or perhaps messed something in pacman too.
I refreshed the database with new mirror and during upgrade I'm getting error that kdelibs require phonon, but when I want to install it I get msg that phonon is conflicting with qt, but few lines later pacman lists qt dependencies where phonon needs qt as well. It becomes a vicious circle.
What is advised? Brake dependencies or unsintall lots of packages and start from the beginning?
The Arch system is rather stable, but during my move to x64 I'm getting trouble with ntfs-3g and I cannot copy files to these partitions.
After a dozen of seconds processor util is going high and estimated copy time in very next seconds jumps from 4 min to more than 1 hour.
I've heard somewhere that USB drivers faced issues in 64-bit systems, but moment I remember when something similar have happend to me twice in the past.
Such thing was related with NTFS partition high fragmentation or something else that required native Windows scans to fix this.
Am I right? But I still think that system update may help.
