Re: Memory corruption from suspend-to-disk with Intel graphics and KMS

using kernel26, intel-dri, libdrm and xorg-server from testing the problem seems to be fixed. didn't test which package solved the bug. guess it's kernel26 ....

edit: issue is still present, but more subtle now ....

Re: Memory corruption from suspend-to-disk with Intel graphics and KMS

Just delete 'i915' and 'intel-agp' from 'MODULES' in '/etc/mkinitcpio.conf'.

It works for me

Re: Memory corruption from suspend-to-disk with Intel graphics and KMS

Still broken, in linux 2.6.34 on two generations of Intel graphics, GM965 and GM45. This is a disgrace for Linux, KMS is broken for months on top of everything else we have been through (lousy performance ever since UXA/KMS, various graphics corruption, freezing...).

You need to install an RTFM interface.

yeah, it's frustrating that the drivers are so buggy. with the current intel-driver i get random freezes when i'm running xscreensaver. writing bug reports feel useless, since nobody seems to care ...

Same problem, same solution. So it's only a problem with 'early' kms!?

Re: Memory corruption from suspend-to-disk with Intel graphics and KMS

This was fixed recently by Linus in this commit. Now available in 2.6.35 and 2.6.34.2-2, more information in this bug report http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/18334

Re: Memory corruption from suspend-to-disk with Intel graphics and KMS

Somehow this bug seems to have resurfaced sad
At least I'm having the exact symptoms described here on an Atom N475 netbook. Is there any way to debug this?
