EEE Function Keys / ACPI Problem

Hi,

I have recently re installed arch on my 1000HE.
I am having some trouble with getting the function keys to work properly (they used to work before reinstalling).

I have installed laptop-mode-tools and the ACPI scripts from AUR (eeepc-generic)  - I run openbox standalone
Keys such as the brightness keys and suspend function key appear to work. Other keys do not. I dont understand why this would be? Also if i switch on the acpi notifications (when a key is pressed) i get nothing for the keys that dont work. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

Also on a slightly different note - i assume i can use laptop-mode tools and the eeepc-generic scripts together? Both seem to control things such as brightness and the super hybrid engine etc...?

Thanks,
Tim

Re: EEE Function Keys / ACPI Problem

You can use laptop-mode-tools and the acpi scrips together. They don't conflict.

Have you looked through the acpi-generic configuration files and checked that everything looks in order?
