Eh, thats my first post. ![]()
When i first time installed arch all i had to do was to run "alsaconf". Sound was working fine. Few weeks ago modprobe.conf was overwritten by some program because of my mistake. I tried to run alsaconf again, but i was only able to listen to one thing at a time(either flash either rhytmbox/vlc). Ive blacklisted the oss module as wiki says, but now im only able to listen to flash sound and i cant listen to ordinary music at all. Im using plain alsa, without pulseaudio or any other lib. Does anybody know what the problem could be?
Info:
lspci:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)
└─┤02:59 PM|$├─> cat /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf
#
# /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf (for v2.6 kernels)
# No idea whats that good for:
alias net-pf-10 off
└─┤03:00 PM|$├2─> cat /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel
If i try to play something with aplay there is just loud noise and rhytmbox gives the following error: Couldn't start playback: The autoaudiosink element is missing.I know you owe me nothing, but i would deeply appreciate if someone would give me some advice how to solve this problem.
