Gnome and WoW

Hello All,

I've been using LXDE and recently decided to switch to Gnome. I used
gnome several months ago and had no problem but now it is giving me
some odd behavior.

I like to run WoW on desktop 2 and use the CTRL + ALT + (left or
right)ARROW keyboard shortcut to switch to another desktop to use my
browser or email or whatever. When I last used Gnome this worked great
but now when I switch back to desktop 2 on it the WoW window has a
1-1.5 inch gap around the edges, It is not in windowed mode, There is
no title bar and if I switch to windowed mode using the in game
options it becomes a traditional window with title bar and switching
out of windowed mode puts it back to full screen. When it is like this
the 'button' for WoW in the taskbar has the minimize and maximize
options greyed out in the right-click menu.

For the moment I have a macro that toggles windowed mode and hitting it twice will get me back to full screen but I have used Gnome before and it used to work without having to do that.

Anyone have any ideas?

You running compiz? Wine and compiz don't play well together sometimes.

No, plain gnome desktop.

WOW is the problem there

Not only bad for people its bad for PCs aswell BAN WOW!!!
