date/time

Ok, I got archie all setup with KDE (first time woot!)

I'm going through all of the system settings tweaking things to my preference. The clock seems to be a few minutes past my actual time even when I type "date" in the terminal. I noticed a checkbox in the "date and time" area of the system settings that says I can pull the time automatically from some server, but when I try to do that (or try to enter the time manually) I get an error when trying to apply the changes:

"unable to authenticate/execute the action: 6,"

I don't know how to change the date/time in the terminal as root so I'm sort of at a loss here xD

Thanks in advance!

Re: date/time

I use openntpd. Install it and add it to $DAEMONS section in rc.conf. Requires no setup, which is something I suspect you desire.
