how much customizing do you need to do to get fvwm looking like that? i've always been curious, but never found the time/ambition to figure out fvwm. would you mind sharing the relevant config file(s)? and are you using 2.4 or 2.5? thanks!

By using its own resize() (using gappx/2 as gap) gaplessgrid is doing well now.
Finally call it settled I guess

KDE 4.4 proved to be too much for my 2004 laptop.  So I turned to a long friend LXDE. Now ohhh how did I miss you.  Clean, elegant, to the point.  Ah,.... sweet love, I profess to thee.

ubuntu now is purple not brown

It's not officially yucky purple/orange/vomit until 10.04 is released in April. I think Rasi could teach then a thing or two...

np; my irssi has evolved quite a bit over time.

my.theme does the majority of the formatting.  awl.pl does the channel listing and nm.pl does nick align/coloring.  some edits are required to .irssi/config to disable the default activity bar and put my nick in the prompt instead.

i think that's it.... maybe i'll put a post on my site about all of it, i'm very happy with the result.
