Clipboard that doesn't have a systray icon

Hello!

I use Xmonad without any systray, and I want a clipboard app that doesn't rest in the system tray. Is there one that is maybe daemonified or something that I can bring up in a terminal? When I bring up Xclipboard, it only shows stuff I copied since opening it... and I don't want to have it open all the time.

It would be super cool to like an Ncurses app that I can bring up just when I need it with all the stuff I've ever copied that doesn't need the mouse at all. Is there something like that? Maybe I should write it if there isn't! Is anyone else looking or something like that?

Parcellite is called with CTRL-ALT-H and you can select entries with the keyboard, don't need a mouse at all.  It does sit in the systray as well though, but I use it in DWM without a systray and load it in .xinitrc.

Not as minimal as you'd like but does what you specified.

xclip/xsel? they are not ncurses based though ... there is also autocutsel for primary/clipboard syncing
