hi,
I get a new error when launching mplayer
$ mplayer
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
$ ls -l /usr/lib/libjpeg.*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 févr. 6 03:26 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so -> libjpeg.so.8.0.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 févr. 6 03:26 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.8 -> libjpeg.so.8.0.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 231570 févr. 6 03:26 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.8.0.0
$ ldd /usr/bin/mplayer | grep jpeg
libjpeg.so.8 => /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.8 (0xb7173000)
libjpeg.so.7 => not found
I did reinstall mplayer, same result.
Any hint to solve this ?

some dependency in your system that links to mplayer is still linking to libjpeg 7. usually is solved by fully update your system. to spot that package that is still linking to old libpjeg:
LD_DEBUG=files mplayer > log 2>&1
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
