Arch Installer Doesn't See SSD

I have a OCZ Vertex SSD. The BIOS recognizes that it is there, but when I run the Arch installer, it does not. I also tried booting an older live CD of Crunchbang, and that also doesn't see the SSD. I've tried swapping SATA cables and ports on the mobo, no luck. Any ideas? Thanks

What do you mean by "doesn't see" it"  Is there no device node for it?  Also, what does lspci say?

Try with latest testing isos, download from here http://build.archlinux.org/isos/

There's no device node for it.  lspci shows all the 2 port SATA controllers, but it doesn't say what hard drives are present.

Are there testing 64 bit USB images? That's what I'm trying to use . . . it would be difficult for me to use a CD . . . but I'll do it if USB isn't available.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Arch Installer Doesn't See SSD

hybrid iso's are awesome!

I figured the problem out - the BIOS was set for IDE mode, not AHCI. After switching, the device node showed up. I feel pretty stupid that I didn't check that first, because I spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting a similar AHCI/IDE issue at work yesterday. Thanks again for the help.
