I am trying to install xorg, but I get keep on getting the error described here

Apparently the solution is pacman -Syu, but upon use of the command I get this error
error: failed to commit transaction (Requested Range Not Satisfiable)
I have tried changing mirrors and checked the mirrors I use with
https://users.archlinux.de/~gerbra/mirrorcheck.html
but no matter what mirror I use, I still get the error, even after pacman -Syy
