openbox woes

I reinstalled arch and openbox, and copied my old .config folder over to my new account.  When I start openbox it loads, I see my background and tint2 start, but then it restarts to gdm two seconds after it loads.  Why would it do that and how would I fix it?

Re: openbox woes

You can start Openbox with something like this in your ~/.xinitrc. Then, when X/Openbox crashes and exits you can view the errors from your console. The file ~/.xsession_errors will be overwritten on every Openbox start.

exec ck-launch-session openbox-session > ~/.xsession_errors
