How to add catalyst-old on an up-to-date Arch using xf86-video-ati?
This is my main problem right now and this don't seem simple at all ...
Could you explain me how to do that ?

Uninstall the free driver, downgrade xorg, install catalyst from aur. See the Ati bar and grill thread for details.
