Hey,
i'd like to set up a torrent daemon on my server. I want to be able to control it via web interface or preferably through a client-software for both archlinux and windows.
There are a few older threads regarding this topic, but i'd like to know what's considered the best option today.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

For a webinterface there's rutorrent: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=29943
For a crossplatform GUI there's nutorrent: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=24172
I'm a bit rtorrent biased I guess.
I've heard there exists something for the deluge daemon as well.

I am a transmission fan. It can operate as daemon, just install the transmission-cli package, and it comes wiht plethora of clients, there is even some for Windows.

Thanks guys, that's all i could hope for
Update: I tried transmission but wasn't very happy with it. Now i'm running rtorrent as daemon (howto described in the wiki) with this webgui via lighttpd (plus eaccelerator).
Runs great and opens very quickly. I love the schedule functions of rtorrent.
I can only recommend it.
Greets,
