keyboard: keysonic ksk-6001 uelx doenst work at all

my old usb keyboard broke. hmm.. drowned actually so i bought a new shiny one: the ksk-6001 uelx. it works in bios and in windows but not in arch, and with "not" i mean not at all.

dmesg gives me:
[...]
usb 3-2: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usbcore: registered new interface driver hiddev
input: KB USB Keyboard as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.0/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/input/input4
generic-usb 0003:060B:2231.0001: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [KB USB Keyboard] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-1/input0
usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
generic-usb: probe of 0003:060B:2231.0002 failed with error -22
[...]

i have tried everything google and wiki gave me:
disabled hot plugging
added modules(hid usbhid ... )
even tried adding a usb something special hook to the mkcpio.conf and reinstalled kernel.
nothing worked so far. the keyboard is just dead. well, the pretty blue lights work but they are too dark to use as a desk lamp. still pretty though.

anyhow i have arch64. my little sister has arch32 and doenst work there either.

help would be appreciated as you might have guessed.
