[SOLVED]Virtual Machine tool that can be easily managed by pacman

Hi all,

I'm using Arch64, and from what I've seen, VirtualBox (which I'm most familiar with) is not installable in Arch64 at the moment, whilst VMWare installation doesn't seem to be managed properly by pacman as well.

So does anyone know if there is any virtual machine tool that is available and easily managed & installed with pacman, or I just have no choice but to switch back to i686 version to get it installed from pacman?

Thank you

I have had no problems with virtualbox in arch64.  virtualbox_bin in AUR, or you can pull it from a 3rd party repo (such as the archstuff repo) rather than thru AUR.

qemu with kvm enabled is quite nice, if you got the hardware for it.

you can't distribute virtualbox_bin ( PUEL version ), so any repo that does it is breaking the license.

You can use virtualbox for a nice gui and features or you  can use KVM ( if you have VT extensions ) with virt-manager or just from the CLI.
