[SOLVED] USB Automounting/Hal/Error Messages

I did a couple of things.  I was having issues with plugging in my USB Devices, and inserting CD/DVD media and not being able to mount them in my file manager.  I'm using PCManFM, but I've experienced the same problem with Thunar also.  The error message starts with the "Rejected Send Message..." also mentioned in this topic http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=86941.  The last post in that thread helped solve the issue for me, so I updated the HAL wiki page with this entry http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL … t_Problems

So I did a keyword search for threads with "Rejected Send Message..." and got these results http://bbs.archlinux.org/search.php?sea … 1480929659 thinking I would try to link them all together with a reference to the wiki page above,  but since there are so many, it is confusing for a newcomer to Arch to actually find a solution that fits their problem.

Then I decided to just make a new thread to try to organize all the USB automount problems in one place.  Hopefully editing the wiki will help reduce the immense number of threads that have been created around this topic.

Thanks to sacarde for the OP that helped me solve my automounting problems, and providing a basis for me to add the solution to the HAL wiki.
