sendmail is hanging

whenever sendmail is ran, it just hangs. no output until killed. anyone else have this?

well, I tried a simple php page (http://files.twilightlair.net/misc/mail/mailform.php) and got this:

Mar 16 01:43:26 Imperium postfix/sendmail[6445]: fatal: Recipient addresses must be specified on the command line or via the -t option

anything via command line is still just it hanging..
