Flash Problem

After a recent upgrade with pacman, my Flash has stopped working.  You tube won't work, it just shows a black screen, capthas don't show, and applications on Facebook just freeze saying I need the latest version of Flash.  I have checked that  I have the latest version installed and it is up to date.

I usually use chromium browser, but have also tried firefox with the same results.

Any ideas please.

Re: Flash Problem

First remove your flash plugin using pacman.

Then remove any left overs...

rm your   .adobe directory in  ~/

do the same for the .macromedia directory.

Then make sure the actual plugin is gone.

rm  /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so

reinstall your flash player.

also, you could try clearing your chromium cache in ~/.cache/chromium....

If still no luck, try re-installing your browsers at this point....
