SSH over the internet

So I have setup my server to ssh over port 223. I have a separate modem (at 10.1.1.1) and router (at 192.168.2.1)
Now I want to do this over the web, and I've setup a dyndns account and site,
and it works fine currently I can only get to my modems configuration page and not through the router.
I have set the router to forward 223 for the server over TCP&UDP but it still won't work.

What next?

Re: SSH over the internet

Are you using the same port for the modem and the router? I don't think that will work.
