Hi,
I cant seem to get some of my mp3's to play. They all work fine now in vlc as I hadn't installed all of the gstreamer plugins. But in goggles music manager, a few wont play and give an error box.

All of your mp3's or just certain ones? If you move the file (and update the database), can you play them?
Do they play using the xine itself (aka from the commandline xine file.mp3) ?

just certain ones. cant tell what is different between them though. The same files are playing fine over my network to a different computer running gmm in arch.
I done use xine backend i use gstreamer.
ooh, just renamed the file it was in from "Radiohead Discography %40 320Kbps" to "Radiohead Discography". Re-synced the database, and it works now. thanks.

Maybe the weird character '%'. This happens to me but with images files.

GMM doesn't use gstreamer. It must be the % character. Probably needs to be escaped in GMM so xine can handle it properly.

that file is still fine in gmm on my server though. even with "%" in the file name!
The reason i say i dont use xine, is i never installed itt, so if gmm pulled it down as a dependency, fair enough. I tried to run "xine path/to/music/file" and it say "bash: xine: command not found"
