Associate keyboard key to middle mouse button ?

Hi

I have a sony laptop and the synaptic mousepad works well there, but I find it not very precise / easy to perform a middle button emulation using 2-fingers tap; I have additional buttons on my laptop, in particular S1 and S2 that are unused (recognised as "Launch (3)" and "Launch (4)" in kde shortcuts settings).

I know I can simply use left + right buttons to simulate a middle mouse button, but I would like to associate S1 to middle mouse, is there a way to do this ?
