[solved] dbus problem and no users listed in GDM

I'm not sure what happened but every time I try to upgrade my system or try installing a new package i get this error message:

error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/local/dbus-core-1.2.24-1/depends: No such file or directory

Also, GDM isn't working anymore, the login screen has no users listed and the restart and shutdown buttons doesn't work. I'm guessing this has something to do with dbus being corrupted or something similar

Do: "pacman -S dbus-core" or maybe a "pacman -Sf dbus-core"
